Does an EU trademark cover Kosovo?
No. An EU trademark registered at EUIPO protects the 27 EU member states. Kosovo is outside that territory, so an EUTM creates no enforceable right before the Kosovo Industrial Property Agency, Kosovo Customs or Kosovo courts. To hold rights in Kosovo you need a national trademark registration.

Why a national Kosovo trademark is required
Trademark rights are territorial
